Our programs include short-term seminars in New York City and Washington, DC as well as summer fellowships for college undergraduates and recent graduates.
Hertog Weekend Seminars provide top undergraduates with the opportunity to engage in high-level intellectual discussion and debate on the most influential works in political thought and the most pressing policy issues facing the United States with renowned scholars and leading experts.
Political Studies & Summer Courses
The Political Studies Program Seminar is a full-scholarship, seven-week summer program for exceptional college students in the theory and practice of politics. In the heart of the nation’s capital, Hertog Fellows study classic texts in political thought, seminal documents of American politics, and selected public policy issues with an outstanding faculty.
War Studies Program
The Hertog War Studies Summer Program is an intensive two-week, full-scholarship program run by the Institute for the Study of War in Washington, DC. The seminar aims to educate advanced undergraduate students about the theory, practice, organization, and control of war and military forces.
