Peter Mattis is deputy staff director of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China. He was previously a fellow at the Victims of Communism Foundation and in the China Program at The Jamestown Foundation. He edited Jamestown’s biweekly China Brief from 2011 to 2013. Prior to The Jamestown Foundation, Mr. Mattis worked as an international affairs analyst for the U.S. Government. He also previously worked as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Asian Research in its Strategic Asia and Northeast Asian Studies programs.
