Neco Donohue is a doctoral student in political theory in the Government Department at the University of Texas at Austin and editor at large of The Vital Center. His research examines early modern and Enlightenment political philosophers, especially their efforts to cultivate the self-knowledge and political psychology required for sound moral judgment. Before beginning his doctoral work, Donohue served as program manager at the Hertog Foundation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies from American University.
